Waste Not has been at the forefront of providing waste minimisation consulting services in New Zealand since 1997. Originally operated by the Waste Not Auckland Charitable Trust (with initial funding from the Tindall Foundation and the Zero Waste Trust), Waste Not Consulting has been employee-owned since 2005 and remains one of the few specialist solid waste consultancies in the country.

Co-directed by owners Sunshine Yates and Bruce Middleton, Waste Not Consulting has an impressive and proven track-record having worked on projects for a range of government, business and non-profit clients. Nadine Wakim joined the team in 2008 bringing 6 years of environmental engineering experience.  She has previously worked on a range of environmental infrastructure and solid waste projects during her past employments with professional engineering consultancies and government organisations in New Zealand.
