GetReal - Packaging is a priority

Want to get rid of absurd packaging? Let's get packaging back on the Priority Products list. Add your support to GetReal's letter to the Government

If you want to do more.

      1. Call in and see your local MP, they represent you so make sure they know what you think about this issue

Make an appointment to see them for a few minutes. Call the local office to find out when their next visiting hours are. If you can't make it when they are open, send your MP a short letter and make your points that way. All the MP's are listed here. Click on your MP's name for contact details and a link to their website.

      2. Write your own submission by May 15th. It's not as hard as it sounds and it has a big effect

You can do it online or by mail. We have written some thoughts here on how to get involved in the process. Or you can get a copy of the consultation document, have a read of the parts that interest you, and send in your thoughts.

You don't have to answer all the parts or all the questions. Just focus on what is important to you. Say what you think should happen and explain why. Talk it over with a friend or workmate if you are finding it hard to figure out what to do.

You can write a submission from one person, a whole family or on behalf of an organisation or group you belong to.
